Informasi yang berkembang di internal Kemendikbud kian santer. Namanya hanya Kurikulum Nasional begitu saja. Tidak ada embel-embel tahunnya. Dengan adanya Kurikulum Nasional ini, maka K-13 bakal dikupas menjadi tiga bagian atau jenis. Yaitu Kurikulum Nasional, kurikulum berbasis pengembangan atau potensi daerah, dan kurikulum paling kecil mencakup kekhasan atau kondisi masing-masing sekolah.
Kepala Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan (Puskurbuk) Kemendikbud Tjipto Sumardi mengatakan sampai saat ini evaluasi masih berjalan.
"Namanya tetap Kurikulum 2013," katanya kemarin (6/12). Meskipun begitu dia tidak menampik bahwa kurikulum yang baru nanti harus diversifikasi (beraneka ragam). Yaitu Kurikulum Nasional, kurikulum berbasis daerah masing-masing, dan kurikulum sekolah. Diversifikasi kurikulum ini sejalan dengan pasal 36 dan 37 UU 20/2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional.
Meskipun nantinya kurikulum beranekaragam, Tjipto mengatakan harus dirancang dengan model yang ramping.
"Ke depan kita akan mengundang pakar-pakar dan praktisi pendidikan untuk memberikan arahan," jelasnya. Tujuannya supaya
beban belajar peserta didik terbebani mata pelajaran yang semakin berat. Dia menargetkan meskipun kurikulum beragam, tidak sampai menambah jam belajar per pekannya.
Terkait dengan revisi K-13 yang belum tuntas, Tjipto mengatakan sudah ada perkembangan bagus. Seperti tim evaluasi sudah merampungkan pembahasan kompetensi inti (KI) dan kompetensi dasar (KD).
Dua kompetensi ini sempat diributkan di dalam implementasi K-13. Sebab banyak guru kerepotan ketika, misalnya, harus menyisipkan materi-materi keagaam atau sosial di mata pelajaran matematika, fisika, dan lainnya.
Dengan perkembangan terkini, Tjipto mengatakan evaluasi K-13 bisa rampung Januari tahun depan. Dia memakai patokan arahan Mendikbud Anies Baswedan bahwa hasil evaluasi K-13 harus bisa diterapkan di tahun pelajaran 2016-2017 tahun depan. Meakipun dalam beberapa kesempatan sebelumnya, Kemendikbud sempat memasang target evaluasi K-13 selesai akhir 2015 ini.
Pengamat pendidikan Doni Koesoema mengatakan sangat disayangkan jika kurikulum hanya ganti nama tanpa memperbaiki kelemahan fundamentalnya. "Ganti nama tanpa mengubah substansi tidak ada artinya," katanya. Secara rinci dia mengatakan Kemendikbud belum membocorkan hasil evaluasi K-13.
Kalau mau membuat Kurikulum Nasional, Doni mengatakan harus dirancang secara matang. Baik itu secara struktur kurikulum, mata pelajaran, maupun isi di dalam kurikulum harus relevan bagi seluruh anak di Indonesia.
Kurikulum level nasional itu, cukup hanya mengatur hal-hal terkait kepentingan nasional saja. "Kemudian Kemendikbud juga harus ikut dalam pembahasan kurikulum leve daerah, supaya bisa seimbang kepentingan nasional dan daerah atau lokalnya," tuturnya. (Sumber : www.jpnn.com)
