Dana bantuan peningkatan kualifikasi S-2 ini diperuntukkan bagi guru SD, kepala SD, dan pengawas SD, yang bertugas di wilayah NKRI yang memenuhi kriteria.
Sistem Rekrutmen dan Seleksi Peserta
Rekrutmen dan seleksi calon peserta program bantuan peningkatan kualifikasi S-2 PTK SD tahun 2015 dilakukan melalui kerjasama Direktorat Pembinaan PTK Dikdas Ditjen Dikdas Kemdikbud, dinas pendidikan provinsi/kabupaten/kota, dan PTP dengan ketentuan sebagai berikut.
1. Kriteria Calon Peserta
Seleksi administratif dilakukan oleh Direktorat P2TK Dikdas, Ditjen Dikdas, Kemdikbud dengan ketentuan calon peserta sebagai berikut.
a) Guru, kepala, dan pengawas SD yang berstatus sebagai pegawai negeri sipil (PNS) atau guru tetap yayasan;
b) Berusia maksimal 37 tahun per 1 September 2015 yang dibuktikan dengan fotocopy kartu tanda penduduk yang dilegalisasi oleh pejabat berwenang;
c) Khusus untuk daerah terpencil, tertinggal, dan terluar berusia maksimum 42 tahun per 1 September 2015 yang dibuktikan dengan fotokopi Kartu Tanda Penduduk yang dilegalisasi oleh pejabat berwenang, serta SK pejabat
berwenang tentang penetapan daerah terpencil, tertinggal dan terluar;
d) Lulusan jenjang sarjana (S-1) dari program studi yang relevan dan terakreditasi oleh Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT);
e) IPK minimal 2,75 (dalam skala nilai 0-4) yang dibuktikan dengan fotokopi ijazah dan transkrip nilai yang dilegalisasi oleh pejabat berwenang;
f) Memiliki pengalaman mengajar minimal 2 (dua) tahun yang dibuktikan dengan fotokopi SK pengangkatan pertama (ditambah dengan SK Daerah Khusus untuk PTK yang bertugas di daerah Khusus) yang dilegalisasi oleh pejabat berwenang
g) Memperoleh izin untuk mengikuti program peningkatan kualifikasi jenjang strata dua (S-2), dibuktikan dengan Surat Tugas belajar dari pejabat berwenang;
h) Sanggup dan bersedia mengikuti studi di PTP yang ditunjuk oleh Direktorat Pembinaan PTK pikdas Ditjen Dikdas Kemdikbud (UPI, UNY, UNESA, dan UM) dengan menandatangani surat pernyataan bermaterai;

- Surat permohonan bantuan peningkatan kualifikasi S-2 (diketahuiAtasan Langsung dan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten/Kota) kepada Direktur Pembinaan PTK Dikdas
- Surat Pernyataan kesanggupan studi S-2 di Perguruan Tinggi Penyelenggara (UNESA, UM, UNY, dan UPI);
- Surat keterangan sehat dari dokter;
- Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK)
- Pas poto berwarna ukuran 4 x 6 sebanyak 4lembar;
- Daftar riwayat hidup;
- Fotocopy ijazah yang telah dilegalisasi (dengan cap basah);
- Fotocopy KTP;
- Fotocopy NPWP;
- Fotocopy SK pengangkatan pertama.
